Start your own flock with these RARE celadon Japanese Quail hatching eggs. The eggs are blue, and will yeild a varity of colors and patterns including Pharao, Tibetan, White, Rosetta, Scarlet, Blue, Pastel, Grau Fee, and Tuxedo. 

Our quail are raised naturally and humanely. These birds are high quality, healthy, and raised with care.
 
Celadon quail can be raised for eggs, meat, or as pets. Because the birds are small, and the hens do not make loud noises, they can also be a fun addition to your urban or rural flock. 

Cortunix quail are coveted for their fast growth rates and reliable egg laying. Coturnix reach butcher weight between 6-8 weeks of age, and begin laying eggs between 7-8 weeks old. Our hens typically lay 1 egg per day throughout the spring and summer, and will continue to lay in the winter with supplemental light. 

Celadon Cortunix quail are rare and were originally imported by James Marie Farms in 2014. The rare "ce" gene is a autosomal Recessive gene. Hens who lay celadon eggs will lay them for their entire life. All of our hens and roosters are hatched from celadon eggs and the hens lay celadon eggs. (Tibetan, Tibetan Tuxedo, Rosetta, Range, Scarlet) carry this gene the easiest & will be what you typically can expect from a hatch as well as a few silver.

CULINARY eggs:
We offer culinary eggs for $7 per dozen.
Quail eggs are an excellent source of nutrition and are packed with nutrients. 
One quail egg contains only 14 calories but is rich in a variety of vitamins and minerals, including selenium, riboflavin, vitamin B12, and choline.
Compared to chicken eggs, quail eggs have six times more vitamin B1 and fifteen times more B2 vitamin.
